Dr. Seung-yun Kim and ECE Students Attend CATA 2018 Conference

This past summer, electrical engineering student, Phil Franco, and computer engineering student, Pat Hansen, participated in the MUSE program at the college under the advisement of Dr. Seung-yun Kim, Assistant Professor in the Electrical & Computer Engineering department.  With their research on Petri net modeling from MUSE, Phil and Pat submitted a paper to the 33rd International Conference on Computers and Their Applications (CATA), sponsered by the International Society for Computers and Their Applications (ISCA).  This year the conference was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, and both students were able to attend in order for Phil to present the paper.

The accepted work is entitled “Using Timed Petri nets to Regulate Optimal Game Strategy”.  Congratulations to these students!
