The computer engineering minor is available to any student at The College of New Jersey and requires the completion of five courses. Non-engineering majors may be required to take additional credits for the minor to meet the prerequisite requirements. Only one course taken as part of the student’s major may also be counted toward the student’s minor.

Computer Science and Engineering Sequence (5 course units)
- CSC 250: Computer Science I, II or the equivalent
- ENG 212: Circuit Analysis
- ENG 312: Digital Circuits and Microprocessors
- ELC 343: Microcomputer Systems (0.5 course unit) and ELC 363: Computer Engineering Laboratory I (0.5 course unit)
- ELC 451: Computer Architecture and Organization
