Internship Spotlight: Louis White ’21, PSEG

While plans may have been altered, many students have been able to continue with their summer internships despite the ongoing pandemic.  Electrical engineering student Louis White ’21 recently shared that he is currently working remotely with PSEG as a Nuclear Engineering Intern focused on the electrical systems of the Hope Creek Generating Station located in Hancocks Bridge, NJ. This facility is home to three nuclear reactors and White is primarily working with the Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) and its digital electronic hydraulic controls.  Working at PSEG has been a goal White has been working toward since freshman year and hopes to continue with them upon graduation.  White takes pride in working with the team at a facility that “provides nearly 3 million homes with electricity.”
