We Welcome Dr. Mahrukh Khan to the School of Engineering

 

Dr. Mahrukh Khan joins the TCNJ faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Dr. Mahrukh Khan will be teaching one section of the Circuit Analysis course and its accompanying lab sections. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, her M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, and her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology. She has research interests in Antennas, RF and Microwave, Satellite Communications, Biomedical Sensors and Computational Electromagnetics.

Prior to joining The College of New Jersey, Dr. Khan was a Course Instructor in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (CSEE) at the School of Computing and Engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City since 2016, where she accrued experience supervising senior design projects. She has published 22 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings, with 109 citations on Google Scholar. In 2017, she was awarded the UMKC Women Council Research Fellowship. In industry, Dr. Khan worked as an assistant manager for the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) in Lahore, Pakistan. She is a member of IEEE, IEEE Young Professional, IEEE Women in Engineering, IEEE Eta Kappa Nu, the honor society of IEEE, and the Golden Key International Honor Society. She has served as a reviewer for “IEEE Access”, “IET Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation”, “IEEE Antenna and Propagation Magazine” and “Recent Patents on Engineering”.
