Electrical Engineering Minor

The electrical engineering minor is available to any student at The College of New Jersey and requires the completion of five courses. Non-engineering majors may be required to take additional credits for the minor to meet the prerequisite requirements. Only one course taken as part of the student’s major may also be counted toward the student’s minor.

Requirements

Core (4 course units)

  • ENG 212: Circuit Analysis
  • ELC 251: Electronics
  • ENG 312: Digital Circuits and Microprocessors
  • ELC 321: Signals and System

Electrical Engineering Elective (1 course unit)

Select one course from the following:

  • ELC 341
  • ENG 352
  • ELC 383
  • ELC 423 or ELC 441
